Waste & Recycling - Reading Part (EXTRA EXERCISES)


1.       Find out the answers to the following questions.

-          What can be likely to happen if tyres not reused, recycled or disposed properly?

-          How you must deal with your household waste?

-          Give some examples of contractors

-          What do you need to make sure the contractors have?

-          What would you do if you see someone has flytipped rubbish in your local area?

 

2.       Answer true or false.

-         Can you get finned if you have hired builders, they take away materials from your house  and they are flytipped.
 
-       If contractors are removing waste items from your property, you can ask for a waste     carrier registration.

-         You are not responsible for what happens to your waste.

-          Britain’s tyre recovery business is being compromised by criminals
 

NEGATIVE  PREFIXES
Unusual, inexpensive, illegible, improper, disable, irregular, uninterested, imperfect…

They all are examples of negative adjectives.


3.       Think about negative adjectives we can apply to the actions or people who do not follow the advice in the text.
